Ctrl-Alt-Del on the Mac? - beach alt code
Whenever a program crashes on Windows, press Ctrl-Alt-Delete to open Task Manager allows me to stop the program. Is there an equivalent to this on the Mac, I always keep the beach ball, and I want to stop the program. I'm using the latest OS X. Thank you.

In the menu bar, click the Apple icon in the menu bar and select Force Quit ... "
This force quits a program that has not reacted.
